Has the tomb of Jesus Christ been found?

James Cameron has made a Discovery Channel documentary in which he claims to have found Jesus’ remains in Jerusalem.
Also this:
The film also documents DNA extraction from human residue found in two of the ossuaries and reveals new evidence that throws light on Jesus’ relationship with Mary Magdalene.
Sounds very much like the claims published in Holy Blood, Holy Grail and subsequently in The DaVinci Code.
Of course, Christians are up in arms about this TV programme, as it aims to cast doubt on the most fundamental Christian doctrine, that Jesus rose from the dead.
I doubt very much that Cameron has found anything of more than passing archaeological significance; but the arguments between believers and non-believers in the coming weeks should prove reasonably entertaining.

entertaining…well, at least distracting.
the funny thing is that it’s rather like fighting about bigfoot or the loch ness monster or arthur pendragon.
to me, logically, it’s unprovable in any case.
The funny thing about the religious response is that they consider it absurd to claim that Jesus’ remains have been discovered, while holding dear the ‘rational’ claims that Mary conceived without having known a man, and that her offspring died, rose again, and ascended bodily into heaven.
A lack of perspective, methinks.
