Finnish Graffiti

Published Friday 10th August, 2007 by Skrik

Seen on a campingsite toilet wall in Tornio, 28. July 2007.

Hiljaa jössä on teppo työssä
kuni vinkuu ja ida hinkuu
yks kaks kol nel
ja vähän spermaa lattialle
ja sängyn alle
kissa nuolee ja äiti kuolee

Finnish is of a different language family from the languages I understand; even so, there lurks in the rhyme one word I recognise as a loan from Latin.

I guess I know which word you mean. :-)

(Not a particularly presentable little rhyme if you ask me, but coming from a campsite toilet, of course…)

I was hoping for scandal. What else are toilet walls for?
